As the new coordinators of the Maryland Association of Agricultural Fairs and Shows (MAAFS) Judging School, we invite you to attend the Spring session.
Enclosed are the class offerings. Participants should have some knowledge of the subject area they plan to register for and are encouraged to bring items to be discussed in the class.

Criteria for the Food Preservation subject has been updated for 2013. Speakers from the University of Maryland Extension Program will present this class. If you are qualified in the Food Preservation subject, you should plan to attend this class.

Tentative Schedule:
8:30 – 9:00 am – Registration/Light refreshments
9:00 – 9:15 am – Welcome/Orientation
9:20 – 10:20 am – Session I
10:30 – 11:30 am – Session II
11:45 – 12:15 pm – Lunch
12:15 – 12:45 pm – Ethics/Interview Judging
(attendance required)
1:00 – 2:00 pm – Session III
2:15 – 3:15 pm – Session IV
3:20 – 3:30 pm – Closing/Remarks/Evaluation/Fall Judging School Date

Registration fee: $20
