Diana S. Wilson
Personal: Married to John Wilson for 46 years, has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Fair Background: Diana has been involved with the Anne Arundel County Fair for over 20 years. She has been the President, Fair Manager, 4-H Chairman, Commercial Chairman, and the Finance Chairman.
State, Regional, and International Involvement: Diana is also very active with the Maryland Association of Agricultural Fairs and Shows, where she served as President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, Director, Editor, and Chairperson of the Judging School. With Zone II, she has actively attended many meetings and has served on different program committees. She also has assisted with the IAFE International Convention for over 15 years, where she has served on Program, Membership, and Workshop committees.
Other Accomplishments: Diana worked very closely the Maryland Congressional Delegation in getting legislation initiated to purchase grounds for the Anne Arundel County Fair, when it had to leave Sandy Point State park in 1982. She was also instrumental in establishing a PreSchool/Kindergarten Day at her fair, which has been successful every year since. This was a well deserved award, Congratulations!
