Howard Max Mosner, Jr.
Personal: Maried to Nancy Mosner and they have a lovely daughter, Jamie.
Fair Background: Max has been involved with the Maryland State Fair for over 37 years. He has been the Vice-President, General Manager, and the Asst. General Manager. Max has received several awards, Public Awareness Award, Friend of 4-H Awards, Outstanding Citizen, and the Governor’s Statute of Excellence, just to name a few.
State, Regional, and International Involvement: Max is often asked to speak at various agricultural functions, Maryland Assoc. of Agricultural Fairs and Shows, Inc. Annual Convention, the International Association of Fairs and Expositions, Zone meetings. and the Baltimore County 4-H Fair. He served as the IAFE Zone II Director twice, and was host of the 1999 National Spring Management Meeting. Max has assisted with the IAFE International Convention, where he served on many committees.
Other Accomplishments: Max has also served two terms on the Amusement Rode Safety Board. He was also instrumental in helping other fairs and shows, like the Eastern National Livestock Show and the Baltimore County 4-H Fair. He is always willing to lend other county fairs equipment and supplies, just ask Carroll, Harford, Howard, Frederick, and Montgomery County Fairs. This is a well deserved award, Congratulations Max!
