Kevin Kamauf
Kevin Kamauf has been involved with the Allegany County Fair since his early childhood, helping his grandparents who were grounds keeper for the fairgrounds since it was built in the mid-1920s. Kamauf’s dedication to the fairgrounds is relentless. He spends many hours at the fairgrounds getting everything in shape and just right for every event from the fair to the rock, dirt track races, bull rides, crafts shows, street rod events and so on. He also visits many fairs and shows throughout the year.
Kamauf has been an associate member of MAAFS since 1987, and he is an associate member of the IAFE. He has served as chairman for the MAAFS Trade Show for many years. From 1986 to June 2001, Kamauf was assistant manager of the Allegany County Fair & Ag Expo, then became co-manager of the fair and events coordinator at the fairgrounds.
Kamauf is a dedicated family and business man. He and his wife, Sharon, have a daughter, Courtney. He is owner and operator of Reliable Glass. Kamauf is an asset to his community and county. His generosity to MAAFS through his stained glass work has been outstanding and greatly appreciated.
Kamauf’s motto is "Whatever it takes" (to make things work and be a success) and he puts his heart and soul into everything he does for everyone.
