The 2009 Carroll County 4H & FFA Fair theme was "Green Before Green Was Cool" This year's fair brought the "how and why" for "Green" top of mind to everyone that attended as they led by example. Clubs and individual exhibitors developed the theme and displayed their interpretations throughout the fair all week in the form of booths, banners, floats, fair beautification and covers for printed programs. The photo represents a fair beautification exhibit showcasing an example of our youth at work as they demonstrated the value of recycling to all fairgoers. This display was positioned on our main midway walk at the Finch Stage and in front of Shipley Arena during the fair, August 25-31, 2009.
